It’s an installation of drawings and sculptures based about the fourth wall break – a phenomenon in fiction when a character shows that he perceives his own fictive existence and the presence of a viewer. Usually, the fourth wall is being broken in cinema, theatre, comics or literature. What interests me most is to break the wall in other media such as installation art, drawing, printmaking. This phenomenon as a metaphor can be related to a sense of perception in daily life. It’s possible for the fourth wall to have a form of narrow-mindedness. This not only increases a scale of interpretations when the wall is being broken in works of art but also may prompt us to perceive our life differently. So in the end I use the fourth wall break as a creative tool as well as way of thinking.
